The Volu-Matic 500 insulation machine has a PTO engine. This model, U45P-28, does not have a water pump. With the performance capabilities of the Volu-Matic 300, this machine is designed to spray and recycle products into interior sidewalls. Our proprietary custom vacuum system returns excess insulation to the hopper for remix into the blend. It produces more vacuum and less air movement, resulting in less fiber fly in the hopper and truck. Since the vacuum system is part of the machine, no additional labor is required to set up on the job site.
Prior to 2022, the Volu-Matic 500 was known as the Unisul Volu-Matic V or 5. CertainTeed Unisul insulation machines are tan and red. CertainTeed Volu-Matic insulation machines produced in mid-2022 and beyond are white and blue.
